Brotherly Relief Mission Initiative (BRMI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-religious organization dedicated to the eradication of hunger and the provision of support to widows, orphans, the elderly and vulnerable persons. Our commitment is to empower the vulnerable, uphold moral values, and contribute to creating a better world for everyone. We advocate for Human Rights, Justice, and the advancement of rural communities. Established in 2023, BRMI is officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under registration number RC 6950643.
At BRMI, we are dedicated to driving positive change across Six strategic thematic areas: Agriculture and Food Security, Climate Health, WASH, Education, Peace Building and Conflict
Management, Health (HIV, TB & Malaria) and Humanitarian response.
Guided by a robust governance structure, BRMI is steered by a Board of Trustees, an Executive Director, Program Coordinator, Program Manager and a team of staff and volunteers. Together, we ensure that our projects align with our core values and make a tangible impact on the communities we serve.
To date, BRMI has successfully launched and managed over 15 transformative projects, directly benefitting over 10,000 individuals and indirectly influencing the lives of over 1 million people. Through our self-funded initiatives and strategic partnerships, we have been able to provide essential support and empowerment to over 200 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), 16 aged business widows and 50 orphans and vulnerable children, enhancing their economic prospects and quality of life.

BRMI stands as a beacon of hope and progress, continually seeking new avenues to expand our reach and deepen our impact. We are not just positioned to act—we are driven by a profound desire to do more, to be more, for the communities that depend on us.
empowerment initiatives. It has specifically achieved the following interventions:
i. Conducted an outreach for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) where BRMI provided
psychosocial and food support.
ii. Created awareness on Agro-business through its Agro-Support Programme.
Through this initiative, it has empowered 100 farmers across Makurdi LGAs with agricultural inputs
including fertilizers, herbicides, and improved seedlings.
iii. Supported 50 IDPs and 32 widows with foodstuff, farm inputs and training in poultry and fisheries
farming in Makurdi and Guma LGA.
iv. Trained and empowered 10 youths and women in the following areas of skills acquisition: Poultry
farming, Fisheries farming, Tailoring, Cosmology.
v. In collaboration with BENGONET, successfully conducted health awareness
