Introductions:
Brotherly Relief Mission Initiative is a non-governmental charity organization dedicated to fighting against hunger and giving hope to poor and vulnerable people in Benue and beyond.
We are passionate about putting smiles on the face of humanity, and our mission is to save lives and make a difference by equipping the vulnerable and unemployed with skills that will generate income and providing relief support against hunger and economic hardship for internally displaced persons and vulnerable children.
At BRMI, we’re creating a new culture of selfless support system that fight against hunger whilst giving widows and orphans a light of hope in the community which promotes safety and human capacity development of all.
OBJECTIVE:
To secure the future of a vulnerable child.
METHODOLOGY:
The methodology used for this activity were:
✓ Meeting.
✓ Sensitization.
✓ Sharing: customized BRMI exercise books, biros, bags were shared to children, cartoons of noodles, sachet oil, pairs of slippers were shared among the women in the community.
✓ Refreshment.
ACTIVITY:
PROGRAM OF EVENT AT TSE-ACHIR, MBASOMBO MBAGBA AND TSE-SHAAJA AKAA MBAKAAU:
• ARRIVAL OF BRMI TEAM: Team members of BRMI arrived at Tse- Achir, Mbasombo Mbagba about 11:00am.

community together, after everybody was gathered, the activity carried out in the above mentioned village (Tse-Achir, Mbasombo Mbagba) was the same activity that took place in this village Tse-Shaaja Akaa, Mbaaku.
The same items were shared to the people of the community after refreshment.
This event came to an end at exactly 5:00pm with a closing prayer by the village head Zaki Terhemen Agber, he expressed howhappy he was and also thanked BRMI team for finding them worthy of this privilege
ACHIEVEMENT: BRMI successfully achieved the following:
➤ Distribution of:
➤ twelve (12) Cartons of Noodles
➤Two (2) cartons of Power Oil
➤ Forty (40) dozens of 40 leaves exercise books
➤ Twelve (12) Brand New School Bags
➤ Three (3) Big Cooler of Jollof Rice
➤ Four (4) Packets of Biro
➤ Hundred (100) Pears of Footwear
➤ One thousand, Nine hundred (1,900) Reusable sanitary pad.
CHALLENGES: No significate challenges.
LESSONS LEARNT: Every vulnerable child deserves the right to education.
CONCLUSION: BRMI might not be rich in cash but in compassion for the hungry and vulnerable child who can not afford a decent life for themselves as a result of natural and human disaster.
What keeps on going is the hope that seed of compassion on a fertile ground of the vulnerable child will someday grow into a tree that will shield the family, community and humanity.
